What is your delivery area?

Your delivery address is requested on our booking form.  If we do not service your area we will notify you immediately.  We make all efforts to accommodate requests, however, when extending outside of our service areas, additional delivery fees may apply. 

 

How often is your equipment cleaned and sanitized?

Detroit Buzy Bouncers cleans and sanitizes all equipment after each rental.  We use a non-toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner followed by a disinfectant spray to clean the inflatables. We are taking several measures to ensure that we provide a safe and fun experience for our customers.  Our team will be wearing masks during set-up of your event.  We ask that all adults and children remain inside the home during the set-up and take down process when possible. 

 

Do I need to prepare anything for the bounce house or water slide?

Yes.  All inflatables must be secured on level ground: grass, asphalt, concrete, or indoors.  Customers will ensure the set-up location is free of all sharp objects, lawn furniture, toys, sprinklers, trash, sticks, rocks, animal waste, or any other objects that could damage the attraction. We do not set-up on gravel, rocks or sand. It is the customers’ responsibility to mark any and all in-ground water, telephone or power lines.

 

What should I do to prepare for the yard sign? 

It is extremely important to thoroughly water your yard the day of your celebration to ensure that the ground is soft enough for installation. Yard work should be completed ahead of time as well to prevent damage to the signs.  Finally, you should secure all animals that may prevent an installation and turn off any sprinklers. 

 

When do I have to pay for the equipment rental?

A $50 deposit is required upon booking.  Deposits are non-refundable. Full payment is due 72 hours prior to the delivery of the equipment.  When you submit a reservation form, our team will contact you within 24 hours to determine if your date is available. 

 

What is your refund policy?

We require a $50 deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. If for some reason a cancelation is needed the deposit will be kept as a rain check for one year from cancelation date. In the event the booking was paid in full, and canceled within a 72-hour window, the $50 deposit will be retained on rain check and the balance submitted to you for refund within three business days. You may also choose to hold the entire amount on rain check, please just let us know when you call.  If the percentage of rain is greater than 50% or at the discretion of Detroit Buzy Bouncers, LLC we may cancel your event for the safety of our customers.

 

What is your policy if there is inclement weather?

We monitor the weather using www.weather.com.

Please note; we MUST keep safety in mind at all times, so Detroit Buzy Bouncers reserves the right to cancel your inflatable or yard card rental due to inclement weather at any time for a raincheck of any monies paid.  If there is a 50% chance or more for rain during the time of your event, we reserve the right to cancel your event for a raincheck if you do not have the space or resources to move your rental indoors.  We watch the weather 24 hours prior to event to try to accommodate your event as much as possible before we make our final decision to either cancel or proceed.  Inflatables and yard cards cannot be used in winds exceeding 15 mph.  If the forecast is for high winds, we will call to cancel/reschedule your rental.  You will receive a raincheck if your event is cancelled and use it towards a future date within one year of your cancelled event.

 

Do I have to rent for the entire day or can I rent for shorter/longer periods of time?

Our standard rates are for 5-hour rentals that includes our 2-hour delivery/pickup window. You can choose as long as you would like the equipment.  Once your delivery and pick up times have been determined we are not able to make any last minute changes.  We guarantee to deliver before your party start time that has been given to us and will not pick up until after your party end time chosen at time of ordering.

 

What time do you deliver the party equipment?

We create our delivery routes prior to our events to calculate the most efficient time schedule in order to accommodate our customers and their event times. We recommend you choose your event time at least 2 HOURS PRIOR to the event start time. This is your window unless we have to deliver before; in which we will contact you to confirm that change.

 

When should I expect delivery of my yard card?  

Most yard card greetings are delivered and installed the evening before or early morning on the day of your celebration between 7 pm the day before your display date and 8 am the morning of your display date.  The rental period is for approximately 24 hours.  Additional days may be purchased at a discounted rate, subject to availability.

 

Can you deliver to a gated community?

Yes, if there is a 24-hour guard.  You will have to make arrangements for our installer.  If there is no guard, then you will need to provide us with the gate code to enter. 

 

Do I get to keep my yard sign?

No. All items in our yard card greetings are for rent only. 

 

Can I take the sign down myself?

No, this must be left to Detroit Buzy Bouncers only. Our signs are set up and taken down in a specific way to avoid damage to the signs and ensure you receive the best possible experience.  Should you want your sign removed early, please just let us know.
